Talie Krantz serves as President of Cal Poly Democrats, where she works alongside the executive board to make CPD a welcoming, active, and engaging political community on campus. She has been involved with the club since her freshman year and, before becoming president in 2025, served as both Treasurer and Social Media Manager.

Over the past four years, building and growing CPD has become one of the most meaningful parts of Talie’s college experience. Her favorite part of CPD has been the friendships and community she has found through the club, as well as the sense of fulfillment that comes from turning her passion for politics into something purposeful.

Outside of CPD, Talie coaches girls’ volleyball and works as a behavioral technician for children with disabilities. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in political campaigns and communications. When she’s not talking about politics, Talie can usually be found hanging out with friends, rock climbing, doing yoga, or finding an excuse to grab a matcha.
